The Sacred

“There are no unsacred places; there are only sacred places and desecrated places.”   Wendell Berry

In Robert Capon's book An Offering of Uncles he recommends we take a walk and discover our priestly role in nature and history. I couldn't agree more. In fact, if you want to stop reading right now and take a walk, I won't be offended. There is something about walking, especially in nature, that reminds me who God is and affirms His presence in creation and my individual life. Hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, I have felt the presence of God on a daily basis and seen His face in the faces of the people I have met along the way.

To the praise of His glorious grace!
